Delete Rows in Excel

In this blog post we will see how we can delete the rows in an excel sheet. There are various methods available in excel to delete the rows. Let’s learn them one by one: 1. Using Mouse Right Click 2. Using Delete Command 3. Using Keyboard Shortcut To learn these multiple methods to delete the rows in excel we will use the below dummy data which contains five rows “Row 1”, Row 2”, Row 3”, Row 4” and Row 5”. There are random numbers listed in each row. We will delete the “Row 3” from this data by using each of the above mentioned methods. Method 1: Using Mouse Right Click This is the first method which we will learn to delete the row. 1. Select the entire row which we wish to delete (in our case we have selected “Row 3”). 2. In this blog post we will learn about how we can hide and unhide sheet in excel. We have created 03 excel sheets named as “Sheet 1”, “Sheet 2” and “Sheet 3” to explain this topic in simple way. First we will learn multiple methods to hide an excel sheet and then we will learn to unhide the same sheet which we hide. Throughout this blog post we will consider “Sheet 2” as a selected sheet. It means out of 03 sheets which we have created, we will hide “Sheet 2” and later we will again unhide this same “Sheet 2”. Hide Sheet in Excel: Method 1: Using Format Command 1. Select the sheet which we wish to hide (In this case we have selected “Sheet 2”). 2. In this blog post we will learn how to apply Icon Sets from Conditional Formatting to our data in excel. This Icon Sets will help us to improve visual presentation of our data.  Conditional Formatting option we can find in Home Tab under Styles group as shown in below image. If we click on Conditional Formatting then we can see multiple options available under this. Icon Sets is one of them. Click on this “Icon Sets” option to explore all the icons from this category.  All these icons are divided into 04 categories. 1. Directional 2. Shapes 3. Indicators 4. In this blog post we will learn about Color Scales from Conditional Formatting. Conditional Formatting option is available in Home Tab under Styles Group as shown in below image.
