Insert Text Box in Excel

In this blogpost we will learn to insert Text Box in excel. Text Box is similar to excel cells where we can enter any data in it. 1. To insert text box in excel, go to “Insert” tab and then under “text” group, we can find command for “Text Box”. 2. Once we click this command, we can see our mouse curser will convert into another shape. With this we can press and hold mouse left click and then draw the textbox anywhere on our excel screen. The inserted textbox will look similar as shown in below image. 3. We can also find the name of textbox in the namebox . In this case the name of our inserted text box in “TextBox 5”. 4. To enter the data in text box we have to just click inside the textbox and start typing the data which we want to enter. 5. We can also customize our text box by changing its color, shape style or by providing some other special effects with the help of “Format” tab. Creating Organization Chart in Excel

In this blog post, we will learn to crate Organization Chart in excel. We have posted one topic related to inserting SmartArt Graphic in excel . We will use these SmartArt Graphic to create Organization Chart. This SmartArt Graphic command is available in “Insert” tab under “Illustrations” group as highlighted in below image. With the help of this SmartArt Graphic, we will learn to create Organization Chart in Excel. Once we click on “SmartArt” command, one dialog box named as “Choose SmartArt Graphic” will appear on our excel screen . We can find different categories on the left hand side of this dialog box. Out of these multiple categories, we have to select “Hierarchy”. With this we can see multiple designs under “Hierarchy” category. We can select any of those based on our choice. In this blog post we will learn to insert SmartArt Graphic in excel. These SmartArt Graphics can be used to communicate information visually. SmartArt Command on Excel Screen: The main thing we should know is where we can find SmartArt command on our excel screen ? For this we have to go to “Insert” tab and under “Illustrations” group, we can find “SmartArt” command as highlighted in below image. Once we click on SmartArt command, one dialog box named as “Choose a SmartArt Graphic” will appear on our excel screen . All the SmartArt Graphics which are available in excel are divided in different categories. These categories we can see on the left hand side of dialog box. By default “All” category is selected, under which we can find all the SmartArt Graphics irrespective of their original category.
